kirsty steinlechner 's love of theatre began in the back garden,
producing shows with her brother. At school she studied drama, gaining
Gold medals from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. After
eight years as a primary school teacher, Kirsty combined her enthusiasm
for drama and teaching and joined a children's theatre company. Having
completed several Mimeistry workshops in the UK, Kirsty spent two years
at their school in Pasadena. She was privileged to be mentored by
Marilyn Farley, and graduated as a Performer Journeyman. Two babies
later, Kirsty performs whenever she can, using material from her one
woman show as well as her children's show, which contains her unique
blend of mime and storytelling.
rachel smart is a professional mime with a three year diploma in Ministering Arts.
She has toured and taught internationally and is a sought after
instructor for groups and private students. Rachel is a skilled writer,
having written her own solo work for many years, troupe choreography
for missions and currently a series of successful children's theatre
productions. Her children's ministry includes the creation of themed
programmes for children and youth including those with special needs.
She is part of Innovo UK in Swansea, Wales with her husband Dan and is
enjoying the prospect of testing her comedy on new daughter Talitha.
rowan meade professional mime artist Rowan Meade has studied mime and dance since
childhood and has a three year diploma in Ministering Arts. As a
talented director and choreographer, Rowan produces theatre productions
with a mind for soundscapes to character development, staging and
costuming, enabling her to tell stories with great sensitivity. A
beautiful performer, she reveals the tragic and comic aspects of life
with grace and skill. Rowan is also an accomplished teacher of all
ages, most recently having co-created and taught courses for the Bible
College of Wales. She lives in Swansea and works full time for Innovo.
dan smart began studying mime with Innovo and performing with his wife Rachel in
2003, touring with troupes in the US in 2003 and 2005. He moved to
Swansea in 2007 with his wife to attend the Bible College of Wales. He
and Rachel joined Rowan Meade to form an Innovo troupe, performing and
teaching around the UK. Dan is administrator, web developer, treasurer
and performer and has a great ability working with children, becoming
proud father to Talitha in 2008.Having a calling as a skilled worship
leader he regularly serves Innovo's workshops with these gifts.
